Septic Tank Cleaning & Inspection
A basic pump-out empties the tank. A full cleaning and inspection goes further: we remove the compacted sludge and scum layers, check the inlet and outlet baffles, service the effluent filter if your system has one, and document the overall condition of the tank.
This is the right service if it has been a long time since your last pump-out, if you have just bought a mountain property and want a baseline, or if you have noticed any warning signs. You get a clear picture of what shape your system is in and what, if anything, needs attention.
Whatβs included
- Complete sludge and scum removal
- Inlet & outlet baffle inspection
- Effluent filter cleaning
- Written condition report
Septic Tank Cleaning & Inspection β common questions
What is the difference between pumping and cleaning?
Pumping removes the liquid and floating waste. A full cleaning also removes the heavier compacted sludge at the bottom of the tank and includes a closer inspection of components. Cleaning is recommended periodically and any time the system has gone a long while without service.
